The Roundabout is NOW OPEN

You can now access the Hannibal Medical Campus using the main entrance.

The City of Hannibal and Hannibal Regional are excited for the main entrance to the medical campus to be open. Thank you to everyone for their patience during the construction of the roundabout.

Construction Update

4-Story Medical Building: The four-story medical building exterior brick work is being completed and soon the window frames and glazing will be installed. Interior walls on 1st and 2nd floor are being framed with wall and ceiling rough to follow. Concrete site work is in process, asphalt paving for parking lots is scheduled and the new entry canopy is being constructed. The next major step is the interior connection of the existing building to the new MOB, which will begin by the 2nd week of November.

Surgery Discharge Area: The surgery discharge area is located behind the current medical office building to provide a more private discharge. It is estimated to be open in just a few weeks.

ICU/PCU Step Down Unit: For the second floor of the patient tower, the walls and ceilings are being roughed in. It's an exciting time as we are soon going to be able to see each room come together. ICU and Surgery drywall is up and is being primed for paint. Mechanical and electrical equipment to support the additions is being installed. Ceiling lights, grills and flooring should be installed by the end of October.  Interior infrastructure equipment design has been completed and installation is in process. The equipment being installed includes a Philips telemetry system; Steris operating room lights, booms & integration; Nurse Call system, ICU/Step Down/Surgery/MOB networking, televisions, and telephone switch upgrades, just to name a few.
